This is our little Samantha. We think she has the cutest little button nose... just like her brother Noah. I just wanted you all to know a little about our journey so far. Many or you know our story but I feel the need to share about our little Samantha some more. At our 20 week ultrasound we found out some devastating news. Sam had many issues that looked concerning to the doctors so we had to go back for a more detailed ultrasound a couple of weeks later. As soon as the MD walked in we new our lives would never be the same. I don't really feel like going into all the details but she isn't moving, her chest is too tiny for lungs to develop, and she is unable to swallow, plus lots more. That day feels like a blur. The MD asked if we wanted to continue with the pregnancy and of course we both said yes right away. I am now 33 weeks along. The last 3 months or so have been really hard to say the least. Sam's heart is still strong at this moment, she has developed some other complications, but she is a little fighter. I have been in a lot of physical pain lately, lots of contractions and such. Any time Sam could be born- I guess I just wanted everyone to meet her, pray for her, and pray for us. People have asked how I have been so strong- it isn't me- it is God. He has carried us this far and will see us through. We want Him to get glory and praise through this and through Sam's life. I don't know why He has chose me to walk this, but I do and I will praise Him. Thanks for reading this and for supporting us and loving us. We will keep you posted.
I got this quote from another mom's blog and it is from a song- just powerful to me:
"And I know there'll be days when life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise you
Jesus bring the rain."
